list of all
instructional programs
approved by the Alabama
Commission on Higher
Education in Alabama
public colleges and
universities (four-year
and two-year). It is a
continuously changing
document because it is
updated after each
Commission meeting. The
inventory is organized
into two formats: 1)
Field of Study, and
2)
Institution.
Institutional names are
abbreviated in field of
study format.

individuals can receive
career vocational
education training for
initial employment or
advancement in various
fields. Employers can
also use this
information to identify
training programs for
upgrading employee’s
skills.

Academic Common Market
(ACM)
The purpose of the
Academic Common Market
is to share between
states specified
academic degree programs
located at southern
public colleges and
universities not offered
in Alabama. This is
accomplished through an
exchange of students
across borders at
in-state rates. This is
an Southern Regional
Education Board
sponsored program.
